| Description: |
Real photo postcard from a collection of cards sent by the photographer (J. Waterhouse) to a relative in England, who donated them to the Seaside Museum many years later. Card is titled "Kittermans. Seaside. Oreg. Message on the back says "This is the hardest exposure I ever had to make. A man who has been at it all his life, an old man too, failed to get the interior, though he got the garden a little better. I made 1 sec exposure at 6 p.m. on a dull cloudy day in July using Lumiere Sigma plate. J.W." |
